Anytime Jahn Xavier brings together Charles Roth and Tom Curiano together as the Bowerytones for a night of music is a night not to be missed. The last time I saw them play was at this very venue and man did it kick hard, indeed, it was one of the best shows imaginable and I have hopes, though this is an hour as opposed to the 90 minutes we got last year, it should be a great hour of music. As an added plus, get there at 7pm and catch knockout rocker Susan Sed, Wednesday evening.

Wednesday – Justin Timberlake – Madison Square garden – No, I didnt love it as much as Margaret and Paula last year… that didn’t mean I didn’t like it a lot.

Wednesday – Nina Persson – Mercury Lounge – The Cardigan’s former lead singer has just released a bland new album but live and in such a small venue, she can bring it.

Wednesday – Christopher Paul Stelling – Bowery Ballroom – Folkie balladeer of the first order.

Wednesday – The Vamps – Gramercy Theater – Taylor Swift approved boy band from the UK. Sold out of course.

Wednesday – Eddie Palmieri  – BB Kings – Salsa great, bring your dancing shoes.

Thursday – Earl Sweatshirt – Has emerged as the best rapper of the Odd Future crew.

Saturday – Hopsin – Irving Plaza – Terrific rapper with a real good album under his belt from last year.
