As I have already talked about it in my post about the Flaming Lips’ concert at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, on Tuesday night Wayne Coyne came to the crowd on line just before the Lips’ big show, and announced a very early performance with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros the next morning. I took a picture of Wayne talking to the fans about this awesome surprise, in front of the cemetery bell tower, where both bands did perform the following morning around 6 am.
I could not make it, I actually wonder when these guys sleep since the show ended up close to 1 am, may be they stayed up all night! Anyway, someone who had the privilege (and the courage) to attend it, filmed the performance, an acoustic rendition of ‘Do you realize?’ with vocal harmonies by the magnetic zeros.
