Trance. Yet another subculture of kids just wanting to have fun. Really what more does anyone want than to be in a trance anyway. Drugs, booze white noise whatever it takes to scramble the brains signals is totally understanable.
Although, I am not a trance fan I do find it one of the more amusing spectacles to watch. Actually any sort of 'club' dancing is a riot if youre not participating and your sober- but trance is tops
Armin Van Buuren hosts a radio show and is master of ceremonies for the 'State of Trance 600' Tour. This thumping good time will be traveling through Madrid, India and The Netherlands but also swoops in to Madison Square Garden for one night of thrusty fun. The show is March 30th and will be broadcast live via Astateoftrance.com. THAT is worth hanging out for and watching. Total hilarity for the voyeur.
The lineup of trance giants features Alex M.O.R.P.H. and duo W&W. The schedule also includes Markus Schulz performing a back-to-back set with Ferry Corsten.
Fans can sign up to part in the pre-sale now through Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. EST. The presale begins Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. EST, followed by the general onsale that day at 12 p.m. EST.
But wait there is more Van Buuren will release an album simple called 'State of Trance 2013' on Valentines Day.
Now Trance music is defined as (per wikipedia no less!) a genre of electronic dance music that developed in the 1990s in Germany.[5] It is characterized by a tempo of between 110 and 150 beats per minute,[5] repeating melodic phrases,[5] and a musical form that builds up and down throughout a track.[5] It is a combination of many styles of electronic music such as techno,[3] house,[1] pop,[3] chill-out,[3] classical music,[3]:16[4] and film music.
Feeling schooled? Well then youre on your way to prepping for Trance 600 and the infamous Electric Zoo on Randalls Island over Labor Day weekened. Armin looks like a snarky kid- and hmm he just may be!
