Lamb of God's Randy Blythe Manslaughter Trial Postponed

Manslaughter cuz your fan fell off the stage smacked his head and died… years ago.

Thats what Randy Blythe is up again in the Czech Republic no less.  He was held for months and finally was released with trial to occur this month.  At the request of Blythes attorneys the trial will now be delayed until March.  Randy has returned to the US, and again has his life on hold.

Blythe said earlier this week via his Instagram account: “I have heard of some people talking smack about the Czech Republic. This not how it should be. This is a very sad case, not something to rage at people you do not know over. I am not angry with the Czechs at all. A fan of my band is dead – what do I have to be angry about? I am an innocent man, but I am also a very sad man right now. To not be sad in this instance would be inhuman.”

Not exactly the quote you would expect is it.  No angst, no revenge.. a well scripted compassionate statement.  I suppose this is for good reason, you really don't want a foreign government mad at you. Seriously his fate is in their hands and thats scary enough.  The trial will begin March 2nd.

I admire Blythe for going back to stand trial.  I wouldn't. I would stay far away from it all but hey….I'm a chicken.  Unlike most sources who have lost interest in this story… I'll keep you posted.
