Following on his hot as blazes “Hell Of A Life”, “I’m Back” is T.I.’s great return to freedom from a year in prison and it is his worst song to date. Sure it flows good, but the backing track has been heard on a million hip hop songs: did he use it so Gudda Gudda could say he has improved on the Master?
Worst still is the lack of song here, the rap is fast and clear but it goes nowehere but in a circle and in the end it is profusely unambitious.
A real disappointment from the great T.I.
