I Fight Dragons released a music video for their tune "cRaZie$", and it was well worth the wait.
We caught the guys on Warped Tour this past summer and fell in love with them. They're whimsical and fun, nerdy and cool. IFD is the epitome of nerd-rock, and are well worth checking out.
The video shows off just how lame they are; of course it's all based around a video game. The boys pop a cartridge into their Nintendo, and the action begins. The special effects are quite impressive as well. They how to incorporate classic video game themes to stand out and be quirky. You can tell they love what they do and will do whatever they can to show off their adoration for all things reminiscent of their nerdife childhood.
As for the song, it's really catchy and simple. They are holding steady to that Weezer nerd vibe. The singer's voice is smooth and soothing, and fits in perfectly with the rockin' background. This will get the Hobbit fans bopping. IFD has a very distinct sound, and "cRaZie$" is no exception. Everything fits together really well, and it seems like they all know what they're doing. They're most certainly putting their like minds together to create a cliche' but appropriate nerd rock anthem.
This is the best video and song I Fight Dragons has released to date. It's well done, very thought-out, and they threw down a few bucks so it doesnt look like a home movie.
