The bands message is "Follow Your Heart", my message to them is….don't give up. What a great find (via Twitter no less) this three piece group from has a sound that is clean enough to not disturb your mom and aggressive enough to break a few pencils as you bash out the drum bits on your desk.
From Phoenix Arizona these guys are offering a big sound with some dynamic layers. Vocalist Zac Erfort has the swoon factor that will send the teenage girls woozy and thankfully the strength of guitarist Justin Grubb offer something for the boys in the crowd to relate to. It's as if Four Year Strong had their kids create a song, With the most perfect shout backs you can imagine,.
I don't suppose these guys have been together very long- they haven't even been alive very long, but their sound is extremely cohesive and powerful. This is not a garage band. This is pretty serious and well they deserve your ear. Their debut ep is out on February 15th and well I'll be in line for it. There is nothing more inspiring than the true 'eye of the tiger' to succeed and it appears these guys have just that.
I love their sound, I love their drive. I am hopeful they fight tooth and nail in this industry to keep the dream alive. Its rare that I hear something that I can call outstanding. "Come Alive" is truly outstanding.
