1. Shower The People – James Taylor – Though a hit in 1976, it's second life as an anthem is precisely what Taylor does best: he allows time to catch up with his songs and change in a song from a mid tempo guitar based pop song to a feel good singalong – Grade: B
2. Girls Girls Girls – Motley Crue – This is what modern metal misses so bad -dumb fun – Grade: B+
3. Dead Bite – Hollywood Undead – "Goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the dead bite…" You gotta laugh – Grade: B+
4. Good Rats – Dropkick Murphy – With Shane taking over lead vocals, this is a magical slice of Celtic rock. Nearly perfect – Grade: A+
5. With A Girl Like You – The Troggs – Awesome 60s pop, great lead singer – Grade: A-
6. Awake My Soul – Chris Tomlin with Lacrea – Another lovely Christian contemporary – Grade: B
7. Love Is Won – Lia Ices – Pretty piano based ballad via Brooklyn – Grade: B
8. September Grass – James Taylor – Best line? "Where is she now? I don't know…" – Grade: A+
9. Next To Me – Emili Sande – SHe is playing Webster Hall and if the timing was better I'd check her out – Grade: A-
10. VCR – The XX – Made them the most downcast stars in the world, this sounds like "Heroes"- Grade: A-
