By most standards Justin Bieber didn't have a bad 2012: hit album, sold out tour, millions of fans, hot girlfriend. But it really wasn't that great either. The album was a dog and the tour was a drag, the girlfriend is in transition and his squeaky clean, good guy persona is getting a pummeling.
According to New York Daily News, Bieber smokes weed all day surrounded by sycochants and yes men per some unnamed members of his posse. A spoiled little brat who is driving his record company crazy. On stage, that is exactly the vibe he gives off: an arrogant silliness. But really, what can be expected. He is being compared to Britney Spears but that isn't accurate: he is more like Miley Cyrus. By any realistic teenage behavior he hasn't done a damn thing wrong but with success comes responsibility blah blah blah… at least to the bottom line.
Worse for Bieber is rumors his family has been borrowing money from him. As Lindsay Lohan (and countless others, including Joe Jackson) have discovered, you can't make a living off your children. Nothing will endthe child parent axis faster. Who can tell Justin what to do when they owe him a million bucks?
Meanwhile, I can't see Justin having done anything very naughty at all. God knows, he is no worse (if no better) than the average teenager and the press should quit snipping. Remember the Rolling Stone interview where Bieber is enjoying a golf game till the Papapazzi sweep down and start snapping? You try growing up like that.
