Everyone wants peace on Earth, good will toward men this time of year. If a kid cant be safe making macaroni wreaths in their kindergarten then well the world is beyond screwed up.
What I find amusing is songs such as this. Yelling for Peace is most likely the best way to do it. No one listened to the hippies or the punks so hey- lets give these hardcore kids a chance. This generation is bombarded with violence. They're anesthetized to the drama of it all. Ya seen one head get blow off you've seen them all is a pretty safe thought. As unfortunate as that is, an overly saturated media is the cause and there is jack squat you can do about it now.
A Day To Remember has been a fave band of mine for a long time. We had the honor of speaking with them a year ago and they provided one of the best shows I have seen in a very long time. That being said, this song is rather lame.
I will take this as a calling card song for changing the world but technically its not the WOOOWEEE I am used to with ADTR's work. Now don't get me wrong there are some great parts but there is a drag and at 4:02 the song is simply too long, especially in the hardcore world. I
But hey if it works or raises awareness then I'm not complaining. But this is not an anthem I can see going anywhere. But it would be funny to wash a mosh pit full of idiots pounding the crap out of each other to this.
