Say what?! New Order will have a spankin new 8 tracks released in 2013!
Settle down now kids this isn't 'new' per se, but rather some tunes they threw down back in 2006. Having a whimsical (or forsite!) to know their creative days may be in lower supply they shelved 8 tunes to be released at a later date.
That date is next month, and I for one am excited and a bit worried. If it sucks it could tarnish my memories but if its good, why it could be like a giant New Years Eve party in my brain. Ya just cant be sure. Considering these songs were recorded along the same time as "Waiting For Sirens Call", I'm not overly optimistic. They say you cant go home again-but you can drive by. That same haunting vibe could potentially be there but only time will tell.
The band has released a track listing that means squat but it shows there are tunes an that's enough to hold me til we get an earful.
