Where there is an Odd Future show, there is controversy and violence, and sometimes not only in the lyrics but also on stage. Guys do we really need more violence these days?
During an Odd Future show in San Antonio, Texas, a guy named Chassan Ragasi jumped on stage and a fight followed, however it's hard to clearly see anything on this fan video. Some sources are claiming that Hodgy Beats pushed Ragasi back to the crowd, and the guy became a ping pong ball between the band and the crowd. According to several websites, Ragasi got some severe injuries, lacerations and scratches on his head and burns all over his body, and underwent two seizures. As a result, he is now planning to sue the band!
But other sources are saying that Ragasi pushed Odd Future’s Left Brian first, who pushed him back to the crowd: Odd Future’s representatives, who seem to only communicate with Pitchfork, have effectively sent some screen shots of Ragasi’s Twitter account, which would tend to prove he threw the first punch, and was after the money in the first place…I’ll let you be the judge, but it’s true that writing stuff such as ‘So in a little bit my attorney & I will be giving a statement to TMZ’, ‘So I’m on TMZ’, or claiming he would be getting a big check soon and launch a new clothing line, weren't very clever things to say if he wanted to be taken seriously.
TMZ effectively reported the story early Sunday morning, and it’s not a premiere for Odd Future,… remember about Tyler being arrested after the brawl at the Roxy in Hollywood?
Honestly the video of the event is not gonna help much in this case, with all these people holding their iPhones and filming, there isn’t a better view of the scene? At the end, we just have to wonder whether OF is not being caught at their own little hate-game.
