I don’t suppose anyone ever thought hard rockers such as Led Zeppelin would be involved with this type of thing back when they were starting out.
Prior winners are pretty diverse. Merle Haggard, Steve Martin, Van Cliburn Twyla Tharp and Mel Brooks. Wait Morgan Freeman, Ginger Rogers Pete Seeger and Gregory Peck also scored the honor.
