Coldplay's Chris Martin promised us he was taking a three year hiatus from touring after the gig in Australia. Now the weasel has the audacity to back out of his promise. He told UK tab the Daily Star: ''I'm fortunate to do what I do and no way do I want to stop. This three-year break idea only came about because I said at a gig in Australia that we might not be back there for three years."
OK, whatever right. Give the bedwetter the benefit of the doubt but the next quote per Gigwise is why Martin is so disliked by everybody except Jay-Z: "Martin also revealed that they are not carrying on for their own financial gains. The group, which includes Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion support children's charity, Kids Company, and plan to work hard, enabling them to donate more money. Martin said: "If we don't work hard we make less money to give Kids Company. We're very spoiled and that's a constant motivator to keep going. Our work with the charity is ongoing."
Really Chris? Does anybody in the world believe that repulsive self serving trash. If it is true, you don't say it, and if it isn't true you don't say it. You simply don't use your charitable concerns to prop up your career. Completely insane.
Also I have nothing against children or charity and now I am going to have to hate them both forever.
