If you have missed Beck last time he played in Los Angeles as the show sold out super fast, you may have a second chance soon. He is very rare these days but this was just posted on his website:
‘Beck will be performing at the Hurricane Sandy Benefit at LA’s Club Nokia on Monday 12/10 along with Aziz Ansari, Will Ferrell, Sarah Silverman and more.’
And the evening will be hosted by Mad Men Jon Hamm.
Of course you have to hurry up as the pre-sale starts this Friday, November 30th at 10:00am PST here. The ticket prices range between $38.50 to $58.50 plus fee, and the password is BENEFIT.
It is mostly a fun night with many comedians on the bill, and not at all a Beck concert, but he nevertheless will perform… some new songs? We can only hope.
All proceeds will benefit AmeriCares, a disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization, which will help the victims of hurricane Sandy, and the cool poster above will even be available for sale at the event.
Meanwhile, in New York, they will do a much bigger scale event two days later, on 12/12/12, with Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Kanye West, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Roger Waters and The Who and others at the Madison Square Garden, but this Nokia show is special, it is a west coast lending a hand to the east coast.
