1. Some Things Never Seem To Fucking Work – Solange – This is modern indie R8B with a better singer than we are used and as a big time Knowles fan, I admire it from a distance. But like so much of modern r&b, whiile the synth is subdued, and the licks are tasty enough, the song isn't strong enough  – Grade: B

2. Not Even The King – Alicia Keys – There was a time in the early infancy of the 21st when you couldn't throw a brick without hitting Alicia and heer fucking piano. It got to the point where if they wheeled a pino on stage I'd cut out the middle man and simply leave the show. A decade later, she still sucks – Grade: C-

3. In The Meantime – Dolly Parton – This song is soooo wise, "live life, be merry"" is the best advise imaginble – Grade: A+

4. People Like us – Kelly Clarkson – her modern pop move is a woofer – Grade: C

5.Milkcow's Calf Blues – Robert Johnson – The measuring stick – Grade: A+

6. Crossroads – derek and the Dominoes – 8 minutes plus and I wish it was longer – Grade: A

7. All Down The Line – The Rolling Guitarist – the guitarist carries this one, I mean the rhythm guitrist – Grade: A-

8. Sing The Delta – Iris Dement – Stately pino in a paean to the land she comes from – Grade: A

9.1+1 – Beyonce – Not just Beyonces but also The dream's greatest moment – Grade:A +

10. Ready Go!- Juniel – It is a nursery rhyme for teens – Grade: A
