Nikki Sixx is on fire. We already know his “Heroin Diaries” is said to be making it to Broadway(sorta hoping that falls through, aint gonna lie), and the Crue tour is happening and it seems wherever I turn there is more news on him…from him.
Really self promotion is the way to go but when you get these old dudes in with social media, well things get a bit odd. Sixx has taken to his Facebook to babble some more but this time, he actually has an interesting spiel
"So glad we recorded the new Motley Crue track "Sex" and actually got it out in time for the last tour for you to hear live. Obviously there is much more to come (as always). Mick Mars told me he has so many riffs ready to go too… But "Sex" was just a taste of some 'New Crue'. I've personally been writing my ass off for months now. Feeling really inspired to follow it up with the rest of the songs from the band too."
The kids of hair metal have all grown up and now have the income to go to Vegas and see their old idols and I am not sure how much longer Tommy Lee is going to be doing those 360 drum rolls, without his toupe falling off but hell its making a bundle of loot. There is a demand and guess what.. there will be a Crue movie coming out soon.
Yup, “The Dirt”, based on the bands book is being adapted as we speak. I predict this will look a lot like Rockstar, that silly Mark Wahlburg/Jennifer Anderson thingy… mark my words!
