So on Wednesday all we Beliebers will be converging on MSG to see our boy bring it and how. Justin is a trooper and a good dancer and a lot of fun live. And while I still don't like Believe all that much, I guess it is better than I gave it credit for.
So I will be there and I am really looking forward to it as well and so here is the setlist with my own very private and personal and FYEO (for your eyes only opinion about the songs).
1. All Around The World – Ludacris is back and doing his usual PG13 Bieber rap and this is no "Baby", baby. A lame-o beat as well – Grade: C-
2. Take You – Another song off the current one, he is trying to be sexy I guess – Grade: C-
3. Catching Feelings – Ooooh, a sort of smooth r&b feel to it, kinda Robin Thick when he isn't waving his penis. Still not very good – Grade: C
4. One Time – He sounds young! This isa kinda teeny booper dance song – Grade: C+
5. Eenie Meenie – A personal best with Sean Kingston who still isn't back from his boating accident years ago,. Very catchy, very addictive. I once saw the duo sing this live, it was quite pleasant! – Grade: B+
6. Somebody To Love – 2.0 feels like a set of songs shivering against its limitations, like it has only one question and it doesn't know quite how it wants to answer it: how do I go from here – Grade: C-
7. Love Me – Sure it is awful close to the Cardigans, but it is in deep album tracks like this that starlets becomes stars – Grade: B
8. She Don't Like The Lights – Somebody forgot to write a song for him to sing… last time I looked a beat pattern was not a melody – Grade: D+
9. Die In Your Arms – One of maybe three or four straight up magnificent slices of pop Justin has released – Grade: A
10. Out Of Town Girl – Another deep album track off Believe… what ev er – Grade: C-
11. Be Alright – who out together this setlist? He better be dancing up a storm – Grade: C-
12. Fall – Around about now you are wondering if it is worth the long slog to "Boyfriend" and "Baby" – Grade: D
13. Never Say Never – Breaks the five deep Believe cuts in succession – Grade: C+
14. Beauty And A Beat – With Nicki Minaj, the Rosie O'Donnel of hip hop – Grade: C-
15. One Less Lonely Girl – Just to remind you that it wasn't just his dimples that broke him big time, it was this lovely slice of pop – Grade: A
16. As Long As You Love Me – I underestimated this a little because I didn't concentrate on Big Sean who is pretty good here, especially the "best side" line – Grade B-
17. Believe – I believe it will be the encore soon – Grade: C
18. Boyfriend – This song goes a long way in jusitfying Justin's attempts to grow out of teen idolhood. A rhythmic masterpiece of electro pop – Grade: A
19. Baby – It was all over after this – Grade: A
