I am more than wary of this concert, I can imagine it being two hours plus of twenty minute jams that fail to catch fire by a self indulgent giant far, far, far past this prime. But I can also imagine rust never sleeping for two hours of thunderous hard rock. Either way, Neil Young And Crazy Horse at Madison Square Garden is a huge gig on Tuesday, even if it sucks.
Monday – Scott Weiland – Highline Ballroom – I wonder if he will include some Velvet Revolver songs?
Wednesday – Justin Beiber – Madison Square Garden – I once saw Justin perform at MSG with a broken foot in a cast. Translation: the kid is a trooper who gives everything he's got
Thursday – Public Enemy – Irving Plaza – Coming off their best album since "He's Got Game", this is a huge gig
Friday – Cheri Dahl – The Delancey – The rock star as wild girl has never been better.
Saturday – Titus Andronicus – Maxwells – Riding a great album and at ground zero
Sunday – The Monkees – No Davy of course and Mike Nesmith isn't a substitute but still…
