Some Surprising Posters To Promote Chris Brown's Upcoming Concert In Stockholm

May be I should move to Sweden! This country is one of the world's most equal in terms of income, one of the world’s least religious, it also has an outstanding record on healthcare and education, and now this.

Posters of Rihanna’s battered face are appearing throughout Stockholm to ‘promote’ Chris Brown’s November 19th concert in the city. Yes, the same pictures of the pop princess’ bruised face that you have seen before, and it does not look very good for Brown. Of course, it probably doesn't represent the whole population and I bet that this Stockholm’s Ericsson Globe will fill up nevertheless, but it is interesting to see that some people in the world are not ready to give up on this guy. And they are not the first ones, as you may remember, there were some stickers applied on CDs in England, and an Irish band refused to open for the guy.

But would you see this in the US? I seriously doubt. Here, we are always ready to forgive our pop stars, we even award them with Grammy Awards, using the he-deserves-a-second-chance formula, and making all kinds of excuses because, you know, forgiveness is the ‘right’ attitude. The problem is that we are not only ready to forgive very fast but also ready to forget even faster. This story is getting sooooooooooo old, and people want ‘to move on’, the first one being Rihanna herself! Yeah but Rihanna grew up with an abusive father who was extremely physically abusive to her mother, and she forgave him too because he was a great father!

What can I say, I don’t understand this, if a guy almost killed you by repeatedly punching you in the face, you shouldn't forgive him, never! The Swedish people are damn right, and I would move there if it weren’t so cold.
