Remember about this Rolling Stones’ intimate performance in Paris last week? Of course, you do! They have sold out the other huge dates in London and New Jersey at outrageous prices, but this surprise French gig only cost only $20 bucks, so you may get very jealous.
But be happy, a professional video has surfaced, a short clip during the song ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’, and Mick Jagger looks as electrified as he was years and years ago. This is a little surreal when you think about it, when I remember my grandfather at 70 when I was about 17, there is no way he looked and moved like this!! Jagger has signed a pact with the devil, it’s understood, and this thin athletic silhouette of his is certainly a proof that sex, drugs and rock’ n’ roll is the true fountain of youth. But he just can’t believe it himself, as he said during the show, just after the third song: "You'd think some of us would be sitting by now but we're not !"
The Rolling Stones tweeted about the secret show just hours before playing in the Parisian club, and only 600 fans (among them 300 guests) were able to attend.
Meanwhile, the Stones seem unstoppable as they have played another (private this time) show in Paris on Monday night, at the Mogador theater (see the picture!), and here is the setlist from Rockerparis:
It's only Rock N Roll
All Down The Line
You Got Me Rocking
Tumbling Dice
Miss You
You Cant Always Get What You Want
Doom And Gloom
Midnight Rambler
Start Me Up
Honky Tonk Woman
Jumping Jack Flash
Brown Sugar
