Aerosmith will be dancing in the streets. Well, sorta. The band will be playing a surprise street show in honor of election day in their home town of Boston.
On November 5th the band will perform on a yet undisclosed area of Boston for a brief riot causing free show.
If you have ever been to Boston you already know that there are more alleys and caverns than in the Harry Potter film. Chances are better than not its at Fanuel Hall or the Public Garden but hey, we don’t know for sure.
Interestingly this is also the release date of their new album, “Music From Another Dimension” on Columbia Records. And to tie in the album with Election Day, the band suggests you take a hint from the track “Freedom Fighter.”
“Anyone who votes is a Freedom Fighter,” Joe Perry said.
An announcement from the band doesn't’t endorse any candidate, but says “People, get out and vote! For whomever you like. Just do it.”
Aerosmith’s fall tour begins Nov. 8 in Oklahoma City and runs through Dec. 13 in Nashville.
