Well then Mr Tyler, your voice is sounding a bit aged. Maybe he was feeling a bit ill when he recorded this take on 'Legendary Child' as the new new Pats anthem.
Aerosmith are infamous New Englanders so its quite fitting that they pen an anthem to our team but this isn't what I would expect. With corny lines like "meet me at the goal posts baby' its so silly its laughable. Then again nothing wrong with a bit of fun from a legendary band right? Hell what am I talking about? The Patriots and Aerosmith go together like hummus and pita chips and so this is freakin awesome.
This isn't just a tribute from fans its actually a promotion from Pepsi Anthems
“This is a program the band and I were excited to get behind as it is a true representation of our allegiance to the New England Patriots and the city of Boston,” said Steven Tyler. “Hearing our song being played as the soundtrack at all the tailgate parties to every touchdown is a testament to all the diehard Aerosmith fans in New England… GO PATS!”
"There's something about the word legendary and the words New England Patriots that have an amazing ring to them. We're excited and proud to be part of that," added Joe Perry.
I have always found Joe Perry to be the cooler of the two. There is a quiet awesomeness he posses to Tylers psychotic swag. I love how even in these 'official quotes', Perry is more reserved and concise!
