Stones Set List 2012!!! (annotated of course)

The Rolling Stones have tweeted their probably setlist for London (and New Jersey??). And you might believe it but I have my doubts. For one thing, who starts with "She's So Cold" and leaves "Start me Up" to the last third  and where is "Satisfaction"… ?And how lame are those first three songs, man, this is the first set to have a midset lull AT THE START!!! And where is "Doom And Gloom"???

Here we go…

'She's So Cold' – Oh please, this is the worst great song they ever wrote. The lyric is beyond lame. Why would they start with this? I don't believe it.

'You Got Me Rocking' – This is a great little rocker and if you wanna throw it in in mid-set, well, I won't stand in your way. But the seond song of the set? In what planet??

'All Down The Line' – Look, this is a terrific song no doubt. They played it for Scorses so I bet why they have wheeled it out. And I am fine with it… as far as it goes. But is anybody spending thousands of bucks to hear this?

'Respectable' – Ok, even for their 50th Anniversary this would be good for mid set, but it is too early here.

'Tumbling Dice' – Finally!!! This is what we want from Stadium rock.

'Honky Tonk Woman' – And this!!!

'Beast Of Burden' – A great song, and that makes two from Some Girls and two from Exile and we are six songs in.

'Wild Horses' – Blah, blah blah… It belongs to marianne any way.

'Can't Always Get' – I might have kept it for the encore, but tht's nitpicking

'It's All Over Now' -Bobby Womack cover!!!

'Lady Jane' – First trip back to psychedelia.

'Route 66' – Hard rock

'Little Red Rooster' – Hard blues, that's actually a brilliant ol' one-two. I am very impressed.

'Miss You' – This is their biggest song ever, you know.

'Not Fade Away' -Fourth cover!!! And the late great Buddy Holly!!! No Chuck Berry???? The new hits album starts with "Come On"

'Start Me' – Should open the set with it.

'Sweet Virginia' – All the Girls and Exiles? Because the Stones just worked on the extended versions of the albums.

'Worried About You' – Must be one of the new ones.

'Paint It Black' – WHAT? A song about death for what must be the encore

'The Last Time' -OK, I will by this for the first song of the encore

'Ruby Tuesday' – But I won't buy this. And where is "Brown Sugar"? And where is the three song Keith richards medley???

'Midnight Rambler' – Yeah, that's right. this is how the Stones are gonna end their set. Please. This ain't that… No "Satisfaction", no "Night together"… Never in a million years.

One more thing, remember how I bet the rent they would tour this year. well, i won the bet, plus, if Richards had been up to speed it would have been a lot more than four shows, so i win and you suck.
