I believe Jack White couldn’t decide between pale blue suit and dark suit, I believe the guy is so in love with himself he needed to put his freaking face twice in the same video,… two Jack White looking at each other as if they were admiring their respective bipolar reflection in a mirror. Don’t tell me you don’t find this video a little narcissistic?
This is actually a new one for his cover of ‘I’m Shakin’, a song by 50s-60s R&B singer Little Willie John, and sure it is very classy, very stylish, it’s reinventing the old school blues with the help of some impressive dancers and some excellent female singers dressed up at the image of their boss, in blue dresses or in dark suits – they are actually the members of the Peacocks, the Black Belles (girls) and the Buzzards (boys), bands that have backed him on tour for his solo album ‘Blunderbuss’. It is certainly easy on the eyes and the ears, but it’s not groundbreaking… sorry for all the Jake White’s lovers, but why is that guy placed in such a high pedestal? The song is good, but it’s cover, the music is roaring and the video is dynamically done, but it’s has been done before many times!
Black Jack, blue Jack, I can’t pass the fact there are two Jack White in this video, and this is twice the piss-off potential I believe!
