Sure, I loved Grease, and Olivia Newton-John and, for that matter, John Travolta, though not quite a treasured memory of my youth, it is still a sweet memory. And I watch it whenever it plays on TV so despite being sick to my back teeth with Christmas albums, this one could be quite sweet.
With all proceedings going to all proceeds are going to the Jett Travolta Foundation (his late son), and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Center., this is obviously not about the money. Newton-John claimed it was more two old friends with a chemistry that has lasted all these years and more power to them I say.
Joining the old friends on some songs will be Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett, Cliff Richard and Kenny G. Three ouitta four ain't bad and also, according to MSNBC, "I Think You Might Like It," is said to be a sequel to "You're The One That I Want:. Hmmm, that sounds a bit iffy to me, they might be better off keeping to "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". Does it really need a sequel?
There is always this urge to reignite old flames, and while I can understand it, is it really necessary. Still, if you are going to, here is the best way to do it. Plus, between losing his son and up to his neck in lawsuits over claims he molested young men, Travolta deserves some good vibes.
Incidentally, if I rented a good looking young male masseuse the chances are excellent I am making sure I am getting a happy ending in the bargain… I mean, who knows, but that would certainly be my plan of attack.
