The BET Awards were held in Atlanta on Saturday night, and it turned really bad as rappers Young Jeezy and Rick Ross had a fight backstage during the tapping. According to the NY Daily News and other news outlets, the two guys and their heavy entourages had some words inside the Atlanta Civic Center and went outside, starting a wild and chaotic brawl in the parking lot.
According to MTV, Gunplay (Rick Ross’ protégé) was also involved with members of 50 cents gang, as he was seen with wounds, and put into handcuffs by the police, although the various reports about the event are a little contradictory.
New York DJ Funkmaster Flex even posted on Twitter ‘Jeezy and Rick Ross just had words backstage!! Pushing and shoving’ and ‘Shots fired in parking lot!!! Gunman arrested!!!’
The Atlanta police used pepper spray to stop the fight, some individuals fled the scene, and they confirmed that the reports of shots fired were not true, despite what TMZ is saying, and, you know, TMZ has good sources!
What the matter with these rappers, why do they hate themselves so much? Are they going to kill each other till all of them are dead? And you know what, some witnesses are saying that the fight broke out after Ross dissed Jeezy during a performance! Oh my god, how old are they?
