Raise your hand if you're sick of cant Lo Greene. The guy is everywhere and painful on the eyes. He breaks one solo hit and hes like shrapnel, you can't get him out of your dermis.
Well then what could be better than a Christmas album? Due out October 30th so we can be bombarded with his crap for 2 months before Santa arrives. To get you even more hyped (and of course there would be) numerous 'special guests', The Muppets, who join Green on an original song called "All I Need Is Love." Cee Lo's Magic Moment also finds Green joining his The Voice co-star Christina Aguilera for the seasonal favorite "Baby, It's Cold Outside," and Rod Stewart shows up for "Merry Christmas, Baby." Another guest on the album is acclaimed a cappella group Straight No Chaser, who join Green on "You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch."
"You'll really enjoy it," Green told Rolling Stone recently about the album. "It's definitely a great soulful spin on Christmas classics. I did a version of 'You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.' That says a lot. Just ponder on that." Green also tackles songs like "White Christmas," "Run Rudolph Run," "All I Want For Christmas" and "Silent Night."
Another Christmas album, from an actual ELF! That's awesome. I'm glad he thinks Rolling Stone will enjoy it."Santa's driving round town in a horse drawn sleigh, and I'm like .. fuck youuu"
