All Time Low's "Somewhere In Neverland", Reviewed

Well here are my kids All Time Low.  Looks like they're feeling some growing pains in their new tune "Somewhere In Neverland".  A song about growing up and not really digging it.

This is a great song in theory.  The problem is the topic has grown up but the music has not.  This is generic 'pop punk' and unfortunately not even evolved from early ATL offerings.  If anything they sound a bit more boring and a bit less creative. How did this happen?

All Time Low were one of my top 5 bands to reach greatness.  Cute kids with happy lyrics and charming dispositions.  They were sitting on the edge of 'something big' for so long that i think they forgot what they were doing.  Guys, you're supposed to be a rock band not a reproduction machine.  That's exactly what they are doing here.  Recycle repeat release.  Its far too early in life for this sort of thing.

With the lyrics of wanting to be a lost boy its clear that they realize that their shelf life is wearing down.  In a business where you're fans grow up and out of you have to grow with them.  All Time Low are too old to be One Direction but their bubblegum fodder is an 8 year olds dream.  This is creepy and as sad as it makes me is as angry as it does.  Come on you guys there are (and were) so many people rooting for you to make it, if you're too tired to go on just pull a Fall Out Boy type hiatus but don't serve us this crap and expect us to appreciate it.

Its an insult to your fans its an insult to your talent and really, if I were you I would pull the plug on this single.
