Simon Bird Contradicts Iain Morris Claim New Inbetweeners Movie In The Works

On Saturday evening, "The Inbetweeners" co-creator Iain Morris stated categorically that there would be a second movie during a Q and A session following a screening of the first movie, as reported here .

This is in exact contradistinction with Simon Bird (who plays one of the quartet of boys in the movie and TV show) comments to the Hollywood Reporter: Simon told the publication,  "There is some talk that we may end up doing another film, but again, that would be based on whether there’s another strong enough idea."

The subject came up after James Blakely (another Inbetweener) was asked about the ongoing friendship between the four guys and whether they will ever act together. Blakely noted that two of the members, Blake Harrison and Simon Bird,  were working on a sitcom together but the the four would be getting back together anyway for a new movie.
