This from WENN – “Metallica are facing a boycot of their first show in ages in Israel because THE CHEAPEST TICKET is $159. The show on May 22nd has Metalheads in Israel outraged and it’s hard to blame em. There is a Facebook boycott with 500 fans pledging not to go.
Editors at Metal Israel report: “The initiators of the boycott state that Metallica tickets do not cost nearly as much as this in the rest of the world and assert that the promoter is trying to take advantage of loyal Metallica fans.”
Metallica should play a free concert to make up for this pathetic gauging.
