When theyre not busy being Mormon or judged for their poitics The Killers are a pop band who at times are very good. Lead singer Brandon Flowers is a love him or hate him sorta dude and I can say that although I hated the last single, there is quite a bit that I have loved.
On September 18, the band will release their latest album "Battle Born" In celebration of this the band will be doing a live stream show sponsodred by American Express. The show takes place on September 18 at 7:00 pm Eastern Time. The Killer's exclusive performance will be livestreamed from the Paradise Theater in the Bronx, NY, and directed by legendary film director Werner Herzog. He's the same guy who did that Jack White bit awhile ago, the one that was all Blue. What exactly is directed in concert footage anyway, is it just the camera angles and such? This is a legit question by the way, as I am unsure who Herzog gives direction to.
“We’re so honored to work with Werner Herzog,” said Killers front man Brandon Flowers. “"He's made some legendary films and we can't believe we got him to do this.” The interesting choice of words here is they 'got him to do this', I believe American Express orcheestrates this and the band is the chosen performer only? Im getting some contradictory information on this one. But hey Brandon is happy he got him so.. yay?
As evident in this trailer, Herzog has a love for blue lighting cuz there it is again. youtube.com/thekillers
