So let me be a college kid stereotype right now and review a fucking great partying song. Ever since we moved in aweek ago, many of the students at my school have been partying like…well, like there aren’t any parents around. My roommates and I have already got a ritual; every time shots are being done, “All Night Longer” by Sammy Adams must be blasted from our speakers. And I can’t argue with the song selection.
I had never heard “All Night Longer” before last Friday night but now it’s constantly stuck in my head and I’ve got no qualms about it. My friends have even told me to stop singing “Tell the bartender make that motha fucka stroooonger” because I’m always singing the song’s fantastic hook. With a beat that gets your hands up and your body swaying, “All Night Longer” is like a three minute party in and of itself, which makes sense since it’s nothing more than a party song.
I mean, it’s not like it’s got the deepest, most thought provoking lyrics, and it obviously doesn’t have incredible instrumentals, but it still has a beat and a hook that everyone can get in to. There are different qualities of songs that apply to all different genres and this is definitely a high qual party song. Sammy Adams’ music is bro music, and really, no one but bros love him, but if this song was released in early August and if it hasn’t become a radio hit yet, I have no doubt that itwill.
