Mitt Romney May Play The Killers' Music, They Are Just Fine With It

At least one band that is not complaining about Romney using its music,… it is so rare these days, we have to notice. To my knowledge, there was no reaction from Led Zeppelin or AC/DC after Paul Ryan declared the rockers were on his playlist at the Republican Convention, and you know what, they should have followed Morello’s example!

On his side, Romney declared his love for the Killers.

'The Killers are one group I enjoy,' he said in an interview with Parade. But wait a minute, that guy from the Killers, Brandon Flowers, is big time Mormon, right? What a nice coincidence! And may be as a result of this shared faith, the Killers’ bassist Mark Stoermer told Rolling Stone he was totally okay with this:

‘Anyone's allowed to like us. If it's just about music, I guess it's not a negative thing.’

‘He's, I guess, a guy and he listens to music and happens to like us. That's fine.’

He’s fine with it, totally fine, and the band would even consider playing at the White House!

‘We'd have to cross that bridge when we come to it. We're not really a political band. And we don't necessarily have all the same views, but none of us are very politically active anyway. I guess we would be open to it, depending on if and when it happens and what it was about’

How is he so mellow? Not a political band may be, but any individual is either political or brain dead, if he likes the guy, he has to say it, and be enthusiastic about playing at the White House,… what kind of lukewarm reaction is this? The Killers are just like Romney,… so blank and so unengaged.
