Rolling Stones To Play Barclay Center November 2012: Must See? Maybe, But You Won't

The Rolling Stones are to receive $50M for two concerts at Barclay Center this November, or rather $1,666 per seat. Wanna gop? Maybe. Wanna win Powerball? Maybe.

If you think Streisand tix were tough to get wait for this insanity. It will be a madhouse, nobody, nobody is going to see this show. Next year when they play Metlife? Sure, you will get those. But this November? Forget it, toots, it ain't happening.

Of course, Barclay's are not trying to actually make any money on the deal, all they want to do, and exactly what they have done through this, is to give MSG a serious warning: they are here to stay. And that is precisely what this will do. For the Stones, it is a good pay check for a dress rehearsal.

Tickets are not on sale yet, but I would guess a staring price of $1,000  minimum, maybe more, going all the way to the $100K or higher range. I just went on Stubhub and they are not on sale yet. I expected them to be. First you sell them and then you buy them is good business sense.

Would I pay a grand? I might. If I didn't edit rock nyc I wouldn't do it, but it is too big a New York music story to be ignored and I would like to get the story if I possibly can.

No info as to tix but it has been my experience that this is a Citibank presale arena.

Good luck, you're gonna need it babe.
