1. Coma Girl – Joe Strummer And The Mescaleros – Ear deep into the Strummer retro with various variations on pain and pleasure, this first song off his post-humous Streetcore needs no damning with faint praise. It's as good as good Clash. PS: the EP included a cover of "Blitztrig Bop" – Grade: A-2. Kinski Assassin – Ariel Pink's Haunted House – I actively dislike this experimental indie band -it is like the most annoyingly twee prog rock imaginable plus a truly irritating leader – Grade: C-
3.Circles Around the Sky – Dispatches – Guitar rock, both old fashioned and underfed – Grade: C-
4. Take Your hands Off It – Ry Cooder – Works as a novelty item, which is more than you can say for the rest of the album – Grade: B
5. Please Me – Tomas Doncker – First rate soul sex song – Grade: A
6. Pat Pong Ladies (Demo) – The Darkness – This works a fine line between parody and self-parody, and here it remains firmly in the parody division – Grade: B
7. Simona La Ramona – Spider Bags – Gorgeous lick all over this track – Grade: A
8. Eyes Open – Taylor Swift – Betrays his vocal weakness while also finding a way forward for her – Grade: A-
9. Here I Am (Come And Get Me) – Al Green – Concert highlight Wednesday, mostly because he stayed with it lal the way to the end – Grade: A+
10. Oh Well – Billy Gibbons – I really can hear that ZZ Top concert speaking to me – Grade: A-
