Are You Ready For Some Hank Williams Jr.?

The infamous Monday Night Football howl of "Are You Ready For Some Football?", is the extent of my tolerance for Hank Williams JR.  He resembles a WWF parody actor has a big mouth and little on the back up.

Much like Ted Nugent, the bigger the mouth the louder the scope.  I worry about a society that follows musicians political beliefs.  People who live in backstage dressing rooms being fed by 'catering' and who spend no time at all in the 'real world' should pretty much shut up.  Unless you have real life experience, your opinion means very little.  Based solely on what you read or are told the dynamic of opinion changes.  My thoughts on Middle East politics mean nothing- I have never been there and all of my knowledge comes from the media- who is partisan.  Dig?

So why filth up a perfect good concert with political warble?  I say 'perfectly good' as a courtesy.  I'm sure there were lots of paying fans at a recent Hank Williams JR show, did they need to hear this?

'We've got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the U.S. and we hate him!'

The Hank Williams Jr rant was reported by reviewer Joe Lawler in Metromix Des Moines.

Williams spurted out his obnoxious venom at the end of his song 'We Don't Apologize For America'.

This isn't the first time Williams pretended to be a political analyst.  He has spewed his anti Obama shtick often enough- ok ok, we get it.
Hank Williams considers himself 'Far Right Wing', an interesting position for a good ol' boy.   Amazing how a cowboy hat and dark glasses can improve ones looks, ay?
