So, this is how kids see shows now, like a carnival circus?… Odd Future, the OFWGKTA Los Angeles gang, has announced a carnival happening at Club Nokia on September 30.
Tyler the Creator tweeted it all day long, in his very personal style:
‘THEM OF NIGGAS ARE THROWING THEIR OWN CARNIVAL. COME ON, KEEP TALKING ABOUT HOW IMMATURE WE ARE….ON THE ZIPPER!!! AHH’
The Odd Future very first Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival will feature the usual suspects, such as Syd Tha Kid’s band the Internet, and their hardcore friends Trash Talk, who just signed to OF’s label, plus rides (really rides inside the Nokia?), games, contests, and what else? It is difficult to keep up with these kids!
The Nokia is a big place, with a 2,300-person capacity, so it will turn into some circus, I can guarantee it. Tickets are already on sale here, and they are not cheap, especially if you opt for the GOLFWANG and FLOGGNAW packages – they sure like their acronyms! – which are respectively $150 and $250, but include VIP access!
