Emma Thompson and Jay Z are busy destroying classics as we speak as they begin filming the screenplay for Annie, starring Willow Smith. Now, I'm not so sure who had this brain spasm but it by far the most ridiculous if not blasphemous move in musical history.
"In the autumn, we get to go to LA to work with Willow and work on more of the script," said Thompson.
"Jay-Z has already started working on the music. We will start shooting in the spring in New York." Jay Z is currently working on the soundtrack, was this idea born of his sample of "Hard Knock Life" sample in the tune Ghetto Anthem? Wow I am honestly disturbed at this project and at Emma Thompson for actually making it happen.
When asked about Willow as the lead Thompson stated When asked about 11-year-old Willow, Thompson replied, "I really like Willow. She is getting so tall. I mean both Willow and Jayden (her 14-year old brother) are remarkable."
When you're only comment about your star actress is in regards to her height, the things gonna tank. The actress said: "I have been writing the script for nearly three years, it's exciting."
It's a nightmare. Even The Wiz was a nightmare, lets leave well enough alone- shall we? I'm thinking The Smith household is so busy trying to package that kid that nothing is sacred. God make it end.
