Lynyrd Skynyrd "Southern Surroundings" Wal Mart Exclusive

Ever see those 'people of Walmart' photos? Yeah?  Totally Lynyrd Skynyrd, dont you agree?  That Southern dusty bearded good lovin' keg tappin good time music couldnt be a better fit.  Seriosuly you couldnt have exclusivity with Skynyrd and say.. Macys.  Well they dont sell music, but if htey did it wouldnt work.  Macys smells nice.

So LS is partnering with their perfect lover Walmart to offer up the new compilation of lifes work called "Southern Suroundings', even the title is perfect.  Cojuring up images of toaster cozys and milk crate shelves.

The CD/DVD/Audio DVD includes a CD with Sweet Home Alabama, That Smell and Free Bird, a DVD with seven performances from the BBC's Old Grey Whistle Test, and a DVD Audio disc with ten of their classics in newly mixed 5.1 Surround Sound.  Thats gonna rock your double wide thats for sure.

On August 21, Roadrunner/Loud & Proud Records will release the band's new album, Last of a Dyin' Breed. The release marks the first release of new material since Sept. 2009's Gods & Guns, which debuted in the Top 20 of the Billboard album sales chart.  Are people still listening to Southern Rock?  It seems that rock and country have interwoven so much with acts like Kid Rock that it would have killed the genre'.  So blurred it no longer matters.

Never a fan of redneck rock, never flew the confederate and never messed with Texas BUT I have made a boatload of offensive jokes about the culture and will contine to do sol  'Now, where my bic at and Tammy Jo git off mah cigarettes and lets fire up some Skinnerd Booyah'
