Sigur rós is playing the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on August 12, and I am going. But I have received this email which tell us they have something quite original in store for us.
‘if you are attending the Hollywood forever cemetery sigur rós gig on 12 august, we are looking for volunteers from our audience to record themselves speaking for a few minutes about memories of a person in their lives, that they have lost. the content of the recordings will be treated sensitively and used in full or in part in an installation on the evening of the show.

I know that we are in a cemetery, and that Sigur rós’ music is not the most cheerful one, but do I want to hear about other people’s loss? What kind of tearing evening is it gonna be? Please I don’t want to attend a cry fest, I am here to be entertained. I guess I will not more about it soon.
