OK don't tell anyone but I sorta dig Alanis. I lasted almost 30 minutes when I went to see her live,that's a huge big deal She sings sassy stuff and although she can be annoying, Id say there are times I would say I was a fan.
That being said she is one of the inductees for the Guitar Center RockWalk. Smack dab in the pavement outside the original Guitar Center location on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood artists sink their hands in concrete. The Rock Walk was first established in 1985 and, unlike other such awards, the new inductees are elected solely by the decision of past inductees.
This could get pretty strange as artist chose more and more obscure
Along with Morrisette is another Canadian phenom.. Rush I only liked Rush when they did that song with Bob and Doub McKenzies 'Take Off"
Rush, Morissette and Mana join other musicians in stone, Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton, George Martin, Jimmy Page, Van Halen, AC/DC, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, B.B. King and many others. I dont quite know which chose Rush but I want to ask them if it was a joke. Here are the dates for the ceremonies.
