Yep, those old geezers are scuffin' there way to the States this autumn! In support of their new album This Is PiL, which was released in May Johnny and his band of merry men will do a pretty long tour of duty here, and if you're able you should plan to attend- cuz it may well never happen again.
We all know the main draw here is Johnny Lydon the former Johnny Rotten who has sold himself out so many times its actually pretty hilarious. Ya gotta love a guy who sincerely doesn't give a flip about anything. He truly does as he pleases with no apologies. Joining him on this go round are guitarist Lu Edmonds, Scott Firth on bass and drummer Bruce Smith.
It has been decades since I have seen PiL and I have never lost my fandom for them. Lydon has remained an icon of pop culture and actively keeps his name in the press. From writing books to selling butter he simply wont burn out or fade away. I admire that and I admire that he is a brave sell out- no shame!
