I love Amanda Palmer. Shes is beautiful, intelligent, sexy, smart creative, tough and well just plain cool.
As Iman mentioned a bit ago she is supporting EvelynEvelyn promoting them and their career and life.

Amanda is half of the Dresden Dolls and for you unfamiliar the Dolls are what is considered ‘punk rock cabaret’, something I find fascinating and filthy.
Wikpedia describes it as:”Dark cabaret may be a simple description of the theme and mood of a Cabaret performance, but more recently has come to define a particular musical genre which draws on the aesthetics of the decadent, risqué German Weimar-era cabarets, burlesque and Vaudeville shows with the styling of post-1970s goth and punk music.”‘
Perfectly described. The sexual sensual aspect of show is breathtaking and I cant help but wonder if this is where the now defunct Panic! at The Disco got the idea for the who ‘Fever You Cant Sweat Out’ tour. Burlesque is king and done with such kink its borders discomfort but has that darker mood more than the guffaws of old.
The Dresden Dolls haven’t done jack in way too long and although Amanda is out and about frolicking in Europe and artsy hovels in the States I have never seen her solo nor as a Doll. This bugs me like mad and for the love of hell she is always in Germany. Please if you have not heard her at least go their myspace and listen to the The Kill. If you’re not pulled in by the sheer magic of her tone, well go listen to ahseK or something cuz you’re done.
So here’s the point.

Please Tour the States. Please come back.
