(We had a great time riding shotgun with New Jersey band The Moms as they hit highs and lows on their tour. Have we learned any lessons? Yep, make sure you're friends with your band mates- and be kind to strangers, they could let you use their shower. Donny Saraceno has been a great contributor and we do hope he drops by again (no pressure of course) but Im glad we were able to give him a forum for his Blackberry rantings and wish The Moms much success. -hb)
Day 31 –
Sunday funday! Spent the day waking up late, playing guitar and watching tv. Later I Slowly headed down the shore for dinner with my family and drank many a beer by the Jersey Shore. It was awesome being home for a few days, it was pretty hard to leave. Refueling for the last mini – leg of Moms business before going back to the money making grind.
Day 32 –
Today is my moms birthday! I think she turned 23 or something like that. I was woken up way too early on this relaxing thirty six hour vacation and forced to go to the beach super early. The beach and I have a strange relationship. I love it while I'm there, but I hate lotion, hate sunburn and hate how my glasses get all salty. Nevertheless I toughed it out for way longer than I thought and wouldn't ya know! I'm red as the day is long.
To ease the pain we went out for my moms birthday which is going to make tomorrow morning even more painful. If I did my math right I have to wake up at eight to get home by nine fifteen to shower and pack to get to Florham Park by ten am and to Warwick NY by noon. Remind me to set my alarm!
Day 34 –
John taught us everything in the world last night about being in a band. He showed us his custom "ataris" puma's. Then after some pickle shots with his wife we crashed HARD. Then he woke us up quite abruptly to take us back to the studio to show us that we shouldn't be a band. Haha. Just a joke. John worked us to the bone and yet there is still a ton of work we intend on putting into this next record for you guys. We want to put out the best product possible, which is the most important thing we've learned after all these years of being in projects. Side note, never rush a band, cause they're taking their time for you. Its a lot of work. We basically produced and rough tracked all the songs we plan on putting on the next release and have intentions on beginning tracking in the next two months. But we also want to write some more songs. Let's hope for a sooner than later release, but were not gonna put anything out until it is ready. Thanks for the patience.
Love the moms.
Day 36 –
Its all over kids!
Tonight was a killer night to be at The Room in Brookfield CT!
I wanna give shout outs to all of our CT friends that came out that have supported through all these projects; you made it one hell of a night. The place and owners couldn't have been cooler and they run a very beautiful new room called – The Room!
Go figure.
It was a fantastic tour and I would like to formally thank Helen and everyone @ Rock NYC for posting my stories and ramblings. But also for giving me an outlet to write, something I have been wanting and not wanting to do for a while now. Its strange I go in and out of these fazes. Who wants to hear me bable? Yet maybe some people are interested in how this all works. This incredibly difficult middle ground of working so hard and no one know who you are. That's the biz.
Thanks everyone for reading and supporting the tour and continuance of The Moms taking over America.
And to anyone who wants to travel in general – Do it! There is a lot of country here in the U.S.
Give up on those destination vacations and tourist attractions. Get in your car and get lost. There is way more culture in the sticks than at the all inclusive bla but okay you're kind of in this place thing.
Thanks again guys.

Continue to be you.
Much love
