1. Bus Stop – The Hollies – Graham Gouldman performed this song on Friday, it remains a classic lyric: "Bus stop, bus goes, she stays, love grows…" is worthy of Nabakov in its succinctness. Nothing is wasted here. Everything is exactly right  – Grade: A+

2. Tom Joad – Woody Guthrie – It's not that I'm not a Guthrie fan, it is that I don't know him very well. So I guess this is where Springsteen got the concept from – Grade: B+

3. Feed Me Now – Saint Motel – This sounds aurally screwed, but it is a great song and will kill live – Grade: A-

5. Cinderella Rockafella – Esther and Obi Ofarim –  Won the Eurovision song contest Nd then Obi went off to fight for Israel in the six day war – Grade: B

6. Get What You Want – JJAMZ – It seems to me these guys have everything except strong songs – Grade: B-

7. Pamela Pamela – Wayne Fontana – The stirrings of psycehdelia Brit style – Grade: A-

8. Five Seconds – Twin Shadow – This is swiftly entering my best of 2012 listt!! – Grade: A

9. In Peace With You – Wafa Abela – Remarkable track, Abela's voice is husky, like he's had a few too many smokes and whiskey sours, and so the sweetness of the lyric are nicely cut with salt, and the horns merge with a harp, and the beats, though he might not wanna hear it, give it a Middle Eastern flavor. A true original  – Grade:A

10. Toxic – Mark Ronson – "Ooooh, baby, I'm burning up…" ODB RIP – Grade: A+
