Under The Sea With Bob Marley

Reggae master Bob Marley has an interesting fan base.  He has the reggae fans and the stoner rockers and the common man and he is admired as much for his music as he is for his character.

Leaving an incredible mark on this world Marleys popularity has not waned since his passing in 1981.  Science has stepped up to pay tribute to the rasta man in the most fishy way.

Biologist Paul Sikkel of Arkansas State University came across something unique underwater- and named it after Marley.  "I named this species, which is truly a natural wonder, after Marley because of my respect and admiration for Marley's music. Plus, this species is as uniquely Caribbean as Marley."

I think its sorta funny to name species after celebrities.  I would change the donkey to Madonna maybe name a sloth after Bob Seger.  I thought they only named things after dead people but thats not the case.  President Obama has a lichen named after him, does lichen count?  Elvis Presley has a wasp named after him…but a crustacean?  Thats sorta harsh dontcha think?
