There's No Leaving Bow – The Tallest Man On Earth – I was gonna write about disliking bands because you don't like their names the other day. I've never listened to this Swedish folkie because his name pissed me off, but this acoustic song with a strong nasal voice on top is filled with good songs. "1904" is my jam of the moment and if it lacks shading and drags half way through the answer is simply. Don't listen to it in one sitting – Grade: B+
Punching Bag – Josh Turner – How funny is it to have Michael Branch say the into? About as funny as having the opening track be a knock off of Josh's own "Big Black Train". And it's all downhill from their from this country wannabe bad boy – Grade: C-
Edens Edge – Edens Edge – Surprisingly good Sugarland wanna be trios but with two chicks/one guy. The album is such a we've had these songs for years and are gagging to record them, pretty great eh? Yup, pretty good – Grade: B+
+ – Ed Sheeran – Speaking of first albums, have I got a song for you stuff? The deluxe version has 16 tracks and not a dud in the bunch for this ridiculously talented one more boy band who knows from hip hop superstar in the wings – Grade: A
Manifest – Friends – These guys are one song on Glee away from being the next fun. Everything here is very danceable, youthful, bouncy pop songs over sweet beats. They won't stop sticking their tongues in your ear – Grade: B+
In Our Heads – Hot Chips – Of all the dance rock bands, I love these guys least and the reason is, they don't have that one song to pull you in and they sure don't have it here.
Dirty Bass – Far East Movement – An astoundingly spot on pop band with one potential hit after another. They are opening for LMFAO when I see em next week and this has really upped my excitement level through the roof. Best song? Prolly the one with Pitbull – Grade: A_
The Lion The Beast The Beat – Grace Potter And The Nocturnals – She has chubby cheeks – Grade: C-
Looking 4 Myself – Usher – So he sampled Billy Joel? So what? This is as generic as Usher gets and with the exception of the two Swedish House Mafia songs, nothing much is happening. Plus, one song as great as "Yeah" might change my mind… so where is it? Grade: B
