Rocks Off is an indy concert promotions operation in New York City that does alot of party bus stuff and remind me of a 'Girls Gone Wild' type party kid organization. Lots of cover/tribute bands and 'party bus' trips to shows.
Sorta like senior citizen bus trips to the outlet malls only for the quasi rockers. Not a bad thing of course, we all have an angle and I'm sure it can be pretty cool under the right circumstance.
While stalking their page looking for … anything I came across a worthwhile event! The Queers and Agent Orange aboard the cruise ship The Jewel for $25 bucks on August 18th. Neato huh? A punk rock show on a boat? That alone is news worthy.
Rocks Off also does some walking tours and bus tours to Mets games.. they're a pretty interesting organization. The cast of characters are just that (John Joseph explain to me how you can be a 'vegetarian/vegan' you're either one or the other) who really love to bio themselves.
Anyway, anything for a buck and they do have a good show in The Queers deal. Agent Orange are awesome (but old) then again so am I.
