Jesse Ventura, the ex-wrestler turned politician went on CNN last night to praise Rage Against The Machine, and in particular Tom Morello, whom he described as ‘the new Bob Dylan’.
I was not paying too much attention to what he was saying when I suddenly heard the sentence, and I asked myself, Jesse Ventura listen to RATM?? This is true that Tom Morello has been super active on the Occupy Wall Street front and Ventura showed his support to the Occupy movement, even showing up among the protesters in Minneapolis, but did the two ever meet? I doubt.
Should Morello thank him for the compliment? Ventura may share some ideas with the left, but he is also running this Conspiracy Theory wacky show, which pretends for example that 911 was a cover up by the government,… what kind of political credibility does he exactly have?
But this also came as a surprise for Morello who twitted :
